Somatic Experiencing (SE)TM

SE is a body-oriented therapeutic modality that supports your body in healing the symptoms of trauma.

Trauma is any experience that is overwhelming to your body’s system and leaves a lasting imprint. This could be from childhood and attachment wounds, incidents of shock trauma, collective trauma such as racism and colonization.

SE is a multidisciplinary model that incorporates psychology, physiology, neuroscience, and indigenous healing practices.

I have been certified as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner since 2015.
